Now I also want to share u with my experience on Samsung device. I used to have an iPhone 7, which is developed with a new image, HEIC. But my iPhone broken unluckily and I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S8. Then a terrible thing comes. I cannot open all my HEIC images on my Samsung phone. Through Google research, I know that HEIC image cannot be compatible with Andriod operating system. You may wonder how I solve this problem.
